Applicants Criteria

  • The applicant must be an orphan who has lost his or her father or both parents.
  • The applicant must have a completed high-school diploma or be eligible for post-secondary education.
  • The applicant must demonstrate high academic standing with a minimum GPA or equivalent grade threshold of 75% or higher throughout high school.
  • The applicant must be between the ages of 17 and 25.
  • The applicant must provide documentation proving financial need and lack of access to other forms of funding for education.
  • Applicants must submit a written essay explaining their goals, challenges, and how the sponsorship will help them achieve their educational and personal aspirations.
  • The applicant must provide at least two recommendation letters from teachers, community leaders, or mentors attesting to their character, academic potential, and need for assistance.
  • The applicant must provide legal or official documentation confirming their status as an orphan.
  • Successful applicants must maintain a high GPA or equivalent academic standing throughout the duration of their post-secondary education to continue receiving sponsorship.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Orphan Status

The applicant must be an orphan who has lost their father or both parents. Official documentation confirming orphan status must be provided.

2. Educational Qualification

The applicant must have completed a high school diploma or be eligible for post-secondary education.

3. Age Requirement

Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 25 at the time of application.

4. Academic Performance

Applicants must demonstrate high academic standing, with a minimum GPA or equivalent grade threshold of 75% or higher throughout high school.

5. Financial Need

Applicants must provide evidence of financial need and lack of access to other funding sources.

6. Global Accessibility

The program is open to students worldwide, with preference given to candidates from underserved or high-need regions.

Applicants must submit a written essay of 500 to 750 words explaining their goals, challenges, and how this sponsorship will help them achieve their aspirations.

2. Recommendation Letters

Two letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors, or community leaders attesting to the applicant’s character, academic potential, and need for assistance.

3. Academic Records

Copies of official transcripts from high school or equivalent institutions.

4. Proof of Orphan Status

Legal or official documentation to confirm the applicant’s eligibility.

5. Community Involvement

Applicants are encouraged to include evidence of participation in community service or leadership activities.

Conditions for Sponsorship

1. Commitment to Academic Performance

Recipients must maintain a high GPA or equivalent academic standing throughout the duration of their post-secondary education to continue receiving support.

2. Program Participation

Recipients may be required to participate in periodic reviews or provide updates on their academic progress.

Application Deadline and Process

1. Submission Deadline

Applications must be submitted by August 15th for consideration in the upcoming academic year.

2. Review and Selection

All applications will be reviewed by a dedicated selection committee. Successful candidates will be notified within 45 days of the submission deadline.
